We use only the finest quality bookbinding leathers, and hand pair all our leather in house. We have a wide array of color and grain options available. Leather is available for use in boxes as well.
Quarter Bound
Just the spine is bound in leather, while the rest of the cover is traditionally some sort of decorative paper.
A different colored piece of leather, often paired with chords, but can be used on any leather binding.
Chords
The raised bands on the spine of some books. Traditionally, the leather of a spine was directly glued to the book, showing the chords underneath. However, we are able to replicate this effect on any binding, and it is a lovely decorative element.
